I am having the blues people! Recently I saw a nice documentary made by Martin Scorsese presenting the blues. Immediately I was hooked. I've found a nice collection of songs recorded at the Mississippi State Penitentiary in 1947. I liked it so much so I decided to make a snippet out of it: No More My Lord!

Last nite I was honoured by the presence of some grey haired rastafarian men hanging around my living room.
We had some nice discussions about Zion and Gideon, but most importantly: we made some chill music! Everything cook and curry guys...

I don't know about you, but I think this feels kinda 70's. You will hear that I started with the bass da funk sample posted earlier. I juiced it up a little bit on the guitar, threw some mellow organ in at some point, and filtered away.

Last Saturday Lex left his dog at home and came to the narkoba studios to produce the one and only trailer trash theme song.
We started off with a rocking blues bassline, added some crazy fx loop recorded in the Nubra valley, and went crazy on the piano.
The goal was to trash the place and the song. Which worked out just fine.

Yip, loyal listeners will certainly recognize the smashed Rhodes sample posted earlier.
I've added a nanopad beat ontop, threw in the easiest bass line ever, and mixed it up all nicely for your listening pleasure.
A real floorstomper this one! More to come like this for sure!
